Jpeg/Calendar screen saver.

This screen saver displays jpeg images, calendar, and text. Allows images to be displayed in darker colors to help in the screen saving process. A small built in calendar editor lets you add text to the screen saver for each day of the calendar. You may assign different text for each image or add some default text. Includes other options such as delay, resizing, and grayscale. It can display other information such as date and time and how long Windows has been running. Version 1.022 has an added slide show option; plus it lets you save more than one configuration.

Simply, add your favorite images to MixScreen and select/edit the calendar.

If no data is added to the calendar a default text for that day of the week will be displayed. There is an additional option for adding text for each image.

Other options include time and date display, mini-calendar, window's run time, and saver's run time. Apply edge effects, color correction, grayscale transform and accurate size reduction. If running on a fast computers (Pentium 400 or higher) the blend and fade option produce smooth image transition. Select different background images or background colors.

Low hard disk access:
Includes an option for recycling images. If the computer has enough RAM, image files are loaded only once and hard disk is left alone on subsequent calls. For this option to take effect, select 10 images or less in the Image Recycle option. On the first run, the screen saver will display the first 10 images in the image list. On the second run it will choose the next 10 images in the image list. Or you may deselect the Remember Last Image option.

Pentium, 32 MB RAM
High color display (more than 256 colors).

About MixScreen:
The current versions are freeware. Version 1.022 has not had any bug reports and is recommended.
